Tear Fund, Holy Land Trust, and Antisemitism

Posted by admin on June 22, 2012

Last week we posted a video documenting Tear Fund’s financial support for Holy Land Trust. HLT has actively promoted overtly antisemitic material and yet HLT is described by Rev Dr Stephen Sizer as “a Christian ministry”.

Holy Land Trust’s website referenced mass murderer and terrorist Yasser Arafat positively, and spoke of Israel’s “…sadistic and cannibalistic urges to inflict pain and suffering…

We note that the offending web pages have now been taken offline.

Coincidence?

Watch the video.

About Us

This website should not need to exist. The fact that "Christian" anti-Zionism has gained ground and even an air of legitimacy in some circles is an indictment on the state of the evangelical church. Replacement theology first began to infect and debilitate the church in the second century, eventually providing the theological justification for centuries of antisemitism. It ultimately played a crucial role in the Holocaust. Today, replacement theology undergirds the new "Christian" anti-Zionism. In an unholy alliance with the secular anti-Israel media, sectors of the "Christian" anti-Zionist lobby have quietly rebranded and repackaged the old antisemitism. Israel.co.nz exists to affirm biblical Zionism and to provide a biblical and factual response to "Christian" anti-Zionism, replacement theology and media bias.
